Love is in the air with Valentine's Day just around the corner. Although my blogs banner picture shows a rooster in the group, I'm afraid that Charles Ray found a new home a few months ago. So I feel sort of sad for the two single ladies currently living in our chicken coop. FiFi and Tiki seem content though and have started laying eggs! Yummy. If you have never had "homegrown" eggs you are missing out. Someone asked me what the difference was and I can compare it to the difference between real and imitation. Organic eggs/free range taste "eggier" - new word alert - whereas the factory type don't have any taste at all.
